RE: Big mod.....need info on sliding glass door for the TH.
When one of my homes was being built the building center (Menards) mistakenly set a sliding glass door made for manufactured housing which was quite a bit shorter than traditional doors, Something like that may work.

I mentioned RV Salvage = I have bought from Arizona RV Salvage. in the past. They sell new/used parts and have used water heaters mentioned on on this page.
"We also sell used Water Heaters starting at $165.00. All water heaters have been completely tested out and come complete with unit and door, plus a 60 day warranty. A few of the brands we carry used are listed below."

The axle spacing is for a typical trailer, but too far forward to put 2 heavy bikes in the rear. The trailer balance could be a problem. Also, I wouldn't go far with the way they tied those bikes down! Yeah I know, just a photo shoot.
Airstreams are very nice trailers.
Are you *seriously* implying the makers of the finest travel trailers in history have engineers that are not competent enough to design a properly weight-balanced toy hauler?

Yup. Like it or leave it. Work n Play have had similar problems for the exact same reason. Axles in the center with people loading toys in the far rear. Why do you think more traditional THs have heavy tongue weights when not loaded and have their axles slightly further back than a traditional TT? To balance them when they are loaded - that's why.
You can see in the picture the front axle is centered and the other two are rear of that and it has a 1475# tongue weight without options or any kind of load. It looks like by your criteria they got it just right.

Get all the details on the extended warranty and find out if it's similar to one sold with a new car, most of those allow for prorated refunds after the purchase if you want to for some reason cancel the extended warranty. Get everything in writing and sign the deal with the lower rate then next week cancel the extended warranty and have them credit you 99.999% of the price of it.
Play them at their own game.
It doesn't work that way. The lien holder makes extra money no matter what in the posters "buy then cancel" scenario....
You are still paying for unreceived value if this is done due to the extended warranty raising the principal amount of the loan on the front side of the transaction.
If the extended warranty is canceled the premium refund will be generally applied as a payment towards satisfying the original principal (increased)plus interest and fees loan amount.
Just say no -if you don't want an extended warranty......and get your money elsewhere as your credit score must be decent.....

Good point, not a good idea to add that into the loan at all.
More info for those who do not understand finance it’s like this = here is a rate sheet example:
6.50% = 2.00%
6.75% = 1.00%
7.00% = 0.00
7.25% = (.375%)
7.50% = (.675%)
7.75% = (1.00%)
8.00% = (2.00%)
9.00% = (4.00%)
These are just made up examples but look at 7.00% Lets say with your credit score the lender will give you the 7.00% for your loan. If the dealer sells you a 9.00% they get a kick-back of 4.00% of the purchase price, if they sell you a 7.50% they get a .675% kick-back. If you wanted a lower rate like 6.5% you could buy the rate down by paying 2.00% of the loan amount upfront. This as I mentioned before is rarely worth it.
Besides this, the lenders will give dealers added incentives like lets say they get an additional bonus of $5000.00 if they put a certain amount of business through the lender per-month or something else like per-quarter. Many times they have other lenders offering a lower rate for your loan but will place you with the higher rate lender just to get their bonus.
This is two great reasons why it’s best to shop financing first before even looking. It’s the same with auto, home and just about every other loan out there. A “par” rate exists for every credit score and that’s what you should be getting. Some lenders have a much lower rates for the same scores as well.

Take a look at the maverick line at Palamino RV. I've noticed those on EBay for a while. Don't understand why the seller won't/can't post the name of the manufacturer, but that's what they are.
Not just with RV’s but many other items as well the manufacturer sets a minimum published advertising price.

Take a look at what Dodge did to the Ram 1500 for 2009. Scroll down to picture 13. Not much use with a camper on, even if you had one on a 1500, but it's nice to see manufacturers moving in this direction.
That new storage area is very cool. The greatest lacking on pickups is storage for even minimum basic survival items and that’s a great answer. I like seeing the innovative thinking also.

I work in finance and this is what’s happening …
Lenders give dealers a rate sheet and let’s say 7% is the “par” rate for your credit score. The par rate is the rate the lender will give you the loan for but the rate sheet also shows higher interest rates and if the dealer can suck you into accepting one, they get a kick-back from the lender. This is the same for home loans. On some loans it is possible to “buy” the rate down by paying upfront for the lower rate but not generally worth it.
If I were you I would check the rates at your bank/credit unions along with other online lenders. The dealer is scamming you with that lie plain and simple; if they wanna dispute anything I said I will be happy to do a three-way call with you and the dealer.
P.S. Everyone should *always* shop financing first and the dealer is the last place I would look.

After many slide-ins I bought one of the first Holiday Rambler toy hauler travel trailers and decided on the drive home after picking it up that it would be finding a new home soon and it did … fast forward a little and there is a new Bounty Hunter Class A toy hauler sitting in the barn that will be finding a new home soon also.
Once you have a go-anywhere truck/camper and start noticing all the places you can go with one as opposed too towing or larger rigs the lack of indoor space quickly becomes a non-issue. Truck camper owners are “free” unlike any other except for small Class B/C’s in that they can go pretty much anywhere while larger rigs are destined to be highway queens. I spent a lot on money figuring out I’m not one of them.
Adventures are more fun with less driving restrictions as truck camper owners know well!

My wife worked for attorneys for years and trust me--you won't win. Car and RV dealers have iron clad contracts that have been formulated by the best minds in the business. If you can no longer work with the dealer you better give it up, make the repairs you need to make and get on with life. Unfortunately that is just the way it is.
I don’t agree, the consumer bought a brand new rig and even if the dealer did not notice the damage at the time of signing the contract, it should have been disclosed/addressed at the time they did find it before delivery unless the consumer bought it “at is”.
If post-factory damage exists the consumer has every right to expect a new undamaged roof as that’s what his contract says he purchased.

RE: Replacing convection microwave with regular oven.
The meaning of “convection oven” has been muddied over the years in that a real convection oven has three heating elements, one on the bottom, one on the top and one around the fan.
There are other “convection” ovens that do not have the third element around the fan and these are vastly lacking to say the least (they sell these cheap rip-offs for home markets also, be aware if looking to buy!) as they do not do a very good job at all and nothing like a real convection.
You should be able to bake like a regular oven by leaving the fan off, yours doesn’t allow for regular baking? If you are using the fan are you lowering the temperatures while in convection mode?
The transition to convection does have a slight learning curve and I know of few that would ever go back to a regular oven after spending a little time with one but good luck either way!

I would tell the dealer to deliver the unit as agreed or give me my money back = you have a legal standing here in that the dealer has zero right to alter or add anything to the agreement without your acknowledgement.
